Small knife/dagger with inscription

Hello

I bought this small blade. It has a leather and copper alloy sheath-metal looks like that Alpaca Silver stuff, plastic feeling 'panelled' handle and an inscription and pattern on one side of the blade.

Handle is possibly bakelite, I get very weak orange stain from a simichrome test, much less colour than the jewellery I test.

Total length 14.5cm, 5.75"

I'd like to know where it was made and what the inscription says

Looks like a Finnish puukko.

 

Finnish/Finland, or somewhere in that area, as a guess.

you could ask them how old yours is......and how to clean it !!!
