Carved metal chinese figure?

    Hi there

    Could anyone help me describe/date/value this figure please? About 6-7" and pretty solid, although there is something rattling around when I shake it!

    Is it made of brass? The only "carved" part was done to the original mold this was cast from. If it's not mass produced, it could have been cast from wax - cire perdue, and the wax was hollowed out some, bits of metal can shake around inside.

    I think it's all brass.
