Featured Crystalline Glaze Bowl

    I thought I would easily identify the mark but I’m struggling

    It has a look of Thulin and also Chameleon and Ruskin but I don’t think it’s any of their marks.

    Any ideas?

    Not a crystalline glaze... flambe maybe.

    Yes perhaps flambé although if you google Crystalline very similar turn up in the results.

    Crystalline glazes show crystal growth within the glaze.

    Mashman did a similar vase but those I've looked at have a different base. They did use a round mark at some point but those I've seen were impressed. Not much help.

    Really looks like a John Campbell piece but he usually incises his signature.

    The earliest of those marks (but not the others) is in Godden: Encyclpaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain marks.
