Can anyone identify these silver marks?

I can find both of your marks but I don't think they appear together on this page (though could have missed it). Might be a direction to look though, Hanau pseudo hallmarks.

Might be this. Hanau marks are a bit off my track.

 

I'm no European silver wonk either, but they look like Hanau marks from here too. @MrNate will have the last word.

I think houseful found the best/closest marks. But the issue I'm having is when looking at other Neresheimer silver items, the quality looks quite different to me. I would think perhaps we could find similar styles of vases or other Neresheimer work with rams heads, but so far I haven't found much.

The problem with Hanau marks is that they are all "pseudo marks" - designed to look like "known" marks from countries with official marking systems, but in no way controlled. There are also many Hanau makers whose marks are undocumented and unknown. The 2 partial marks we see on this piece were not used exclusively by a single maker. There may be other hiding else (just like Dutch marks they are often spread out on a piece and have to be searched out.)
