I may have taken a diversion today to go hunting!
Not much in the charity shops apart from the fish pendant.
I think the volunteers spent lockdown mugging up on silver marks!. So I ventured into one of the expensive antique malls and sifted through the retail priced stuff and managed to find a few gems in my price bracket!.
All on one post as I don’t think anything deserves its own but I’d love to hear your views on anything!
    Thanks for looking :)

1)Little Czech necklace. Suspect this has some age. I may replace the pearls.

    2) Rather plain black glass necklace in the costume junk pile and I felt sorry for it. I know I’m a bit sad to rescue things!

    3) Very battered but I love these old foil beads. Any idea of age?

    And they glow!

    4) Chinese? I’d say brand new heavy beads on a piece of cord.

    5) Nice silver 925 drop earrings, silver coral earrings, blue glass cabochons that were old clip back earrings until I dropped them and the backs came off :banghead:.
The brown and yellow beads are only plastic but I love them as they shine like glass. Marked W.Germany.
The ring on the brown bead is diamond which was a nice surprise although it’s probably low quality as set in silver. It’s got a little spinel on the inside.

Still with me?. Just a bit more to go :)

Gucci ring that I think is genuine. Not my thing really but thought it was worth picking up on spec.
I love the fish pendant. Marked Finland but I haven’t researched yet as I can’t find my decent loupe. Looks to be silver and maybe the fish is gold plated?. Got some dirty marks I need to shift- will vinegar harm gold plate?

Apologies, there was a delay in the proceedings as a small person was out of bed when they weren’t meant to be!

The first one is my favorite. It reminds me of some of my vintage Christmas tree garlands.

I think it’s quite old. Fortunately proper antiques malls sneer at necklaces like this and put them in the £2 pile!. I love them as they have such character to them.

Their loss is your gain. I think that fish says SZ 925SS Finland. The Gucci ring might be legit. All I can see is one sterling mark inside. Those foiled beads are often Japanese and often Czech. I'd suspect Czech in this case because the metalwork looks right. Pre-WWII, says the smart money. The Chinese ones are new but good quality.

    Haha! Found the missing loupe!
    Gucci ring says-
R in a circle, GUCCI Made in Italy, *419 AL, 925, a stamp that looks like the rock of Gibraltar, some scales and a 19!.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen so many stamps inside a ring.

Do you think? I know nothing about designer rings other than most I get are fake Tiffany!. I spotted this in a pile of about 200 silver rings so hope it’s a good’ un.

That's a full set of Italian hallmarks, plus a few for good measure. I don't think I've ever heard of those being faked.
