What are these stones? Might be dyed

I think I see these are dyed but what could they be? On silk knitted cord with 925 sterling silver They are about 13mm Any help would be appreciated.

 

coral would be my 1st guess,,,,

They want to be coral. They might be Chinese dyed white fossil coral.

Ok, I was worried about calling them coral

 

They look like it and they're certainly coral-colored. The Chinese mine this white coral sometimes and then dye it red, usually. I've never seen it done in the salmon orange before but can't say I'm surprised. No idea where it was assembled.
