Would any1 be able to help me out I have this stunning oil painting .
Signed in corner r grant I think 1995 ? A REPRODUCTION of constable ?
Is this of any value ?
I can not find any info .

Yes i know its taken from constable but still so well done and could not find anything on r grant .

Done in 1995 by a Sunday afternoon painter.

Decorative value only.

 

Neigh near impossible to identify who R. Grant is. (Especially so because we don't even known which continent your painting is on or have we seen close-up photographs of marks on back that might provide us with clues as to his/her location.) A pleasing late 20th century copy of a work by one of England's great landscape painters. But, as above, decorative value only.
