No legible postmark? If not, you should be able to date it roughly from the stamp or by the Pope. Looks like Pius XII but wadaIknow. Debora
No I can't make out anything but a 19 on the postmark. The pictures don't appear that clear, I apologize, but I was in a hurry to unbox, clean & separate items.
I also think it's Pius XII. He died in 1958, so the date of the postmarked one would be between 1947-1958.
The second one looks like a devotional Catholic prayer/song book. Here is a current listing by somebody trying to sell one on abebooks: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/Bo...churl=tn=massime+eterne&sortby=17&n=100121503 I doubt whether it has any significance beyond being a prayer/song book. I'm going to guess they were pretty common.
