My husband found these for me today I think they are very cool my husband not so such. But he sent me pictures and I said yes. To me they look like the progression of the landscape over many years time. But I was hoping someone could help with the initials. Thanks

I don't know that they are better than factory painting quality. They may be autograph pieces, which is to say by an individual artist. It is unusual subject matter - very dramatic.

Dietz? Diez ? I love them both ! I swear I first thought they were watercolors.
If you could figure out what kind of trees those are,it'd help narrow the search. With the sheep(?) and the scenery,I thought maybe Australia or New Zealand ?

Mortise and tenon type joint and I've seen this before but maybe once.
Very strong if well made and fitted.

I thought they were watercolours at first as well.

Doesn't look Australian or New Zealand to me. Could be a European heath landscape, that purple could be heather.
These are taken in de Veluwe, Eastern Netherlands (with obligatory Dutch bicycles), but there are landscapes like this in other parts of Europe as well:

Thanks for the input I did some research on trees last night an couldn't find anything. The trees kind of look like burl's on them an all I came up with tall trees that have burls on them are common in B.C. or any other area with excessive moisture.
Oh an on the frames I was thinking painting them Black to kinda match my lights or do think that would be too dramatic.
