Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Next time you might want to try photographing in natural daylight....I have trouble with 'phone shadow' if I try to do it with a light on (NOT flash) nearby, can drive me crazy when I want to get some images up quickly....usually have to wait for better natural light!!!! Looks like you got some fun coins tho!!!

I know it can be hard to get good photos of coins if the light isn't too good. I managed to get better photos on the second lot.

This is the stuff that I bought on Thursday and sold on Friday. The box I still have; one of my cousins is getting it for Christmas. (this was fast nickel instead of slow dime territory.) The "diamonds" were 14k and glass of all things. The gold was gold. The pregnant yoga lady was pewter; I hadn't meant to bring her along, but she was still in the bag, and the dealer wanted her too. (fine by me!)

The second photo is "mades" instead of finds; one of my doctors asked to see some of my work, so I figured send photo instead of bringing stuff into an office. The black one is my sister's Christmas present - onyx, ivory, agate and sterling. The pink one is candy jade and white labradorite. The others are glass. I just finished the Mary medal bracelet last night. That one's going up for sale sooner or later.

The "photos" tool that comes with Windows 10 is really useful for lightening photos, adjusting colors, improving clarity -- I use it quite a bit on my photos.

I'll have to try that sometime. When I open photos on my computer with Windows 10 it takes an absolute age to view photos on it so I just use the computer with Linux to open and view photos.

The photos look fantastic Aquitaine. Thanks for doing that :)

Your bottom right token is a Hull halfpenny featuring King Billy (William III) his statue is in our city centre.

When I right click on the photo I get a toolbar and you can either click "Edit with Photos" or open with "Photos". Every Windows 10 PC I've used has it so I don't know if it comes standard or not.

A fairly recent find. I'm almost 100% that its a reproduction but a reproduction with a tiny bit of age to it. I only paid a few quid for it and I love Bellarmine jugs regardless if they are repros or old. I'm not a reproduction kinda guy but because I love history I make an exception of post medieval or old reproduction pottery in general.

From the latest clearance, Big Bugs:hilarious:

The deceased was a retired pest controller, these are educational laminated charts, my watch compares the size.
