Copper plate information Signed?

    Japanese one would think. Sorta like this Meiji one (but not as fine.)

    I've had something with that mark and did work out what Japanese maker it was. Let me go hunt....

    Character is 佐 zuǒ，(which can mean to assist, assistant, aide or to accompany). Don’t know if that helps?
