Good afternoon all, hope you are doing well. I had a question about a little sang de boeuf? vase marking, and whether or not the vase is even sang de boeuf? The marking reminded me more of something one might find on a Japanese piece more so than a Chinese mark. But iono. I’m not even sure if this is a contemporary piece or not. Would someone be kind enough to check this little vase out and tell me what you think? Cheers!

My guess would be mid-century modern or later studio art.

I am not sure I would call this, "Sang de Boeuf" but I do think it's a beauty!!

Maybe flambé is a better term here ...agree with this being modern studio work.

I agree, flambé and fairly recent studio pottery.

Flambe dripware studio, agreed. Where did you find this? I'm sure I've seen that signature.
