    Yes, it is Indian, from Rajasthan.
    They are still making these, so all I can say is probably vintage, which doesn't really mean very much. Their value is in the decorative look, not the age.

    An old breed, native to Rajasthan. You can recognize them by the brass hearts on their bodies, very unusual.:cool:
