I saw these at a garage sale late this afternoon. They were closing up but will be there again tomorrow. Sorry for the bad phone photos.

    1. Green matte vase - I can't read the mark and hoping someone has better eyes than mine or recognizes it.

    2. No marks but has some age and an interesting glaze. I would guess 12 to 14" wide and 6 or 7" tall. Again, hoping someone might recognize the glaze or the shape. Thank you. Mill

    1. Tall matte vase

    2. Planter with no marks. Stilt marks inside from stacking in the kiln.

For the first one you might want to search Floraline (Nelson McCoy.)

I found a different piece with a clear mark and it seems to match.

It's strange, some Floraline pieces have a clear mark and other shapes have the muddy mark like this. Maybe it's the type of glaze that clogs up the impression.

    Perhaps very thickly applied?

I've heard that sometimes when the mold is used by the pottery for an unusually long period of time this can happen.

The second piece looks like modern Chinese and with a crack no less. Should have been donated or trashed.

That isn't a crack, it is a line from the brown glaze. Brush slipped?

Sorry! Yes, a brush slip is quite possible.
