We have this artwork (seems to be in fabric) in a Chinese/Japanese style... I think it is an an antique judging by condition and frame. Could anyone tell me anything about it and possibly what the writing on it actually stands for?

    It is Chinese silk emboidery.
Our wonderful Chinese and Japanese translators haven't been seen for a while, so sorry, no translation.

Oh waw, thank your for your quick message! I'm not sure if you could hesitate a guess at how old it could be? I appreciate you're unable to see it in person! I have no idea how much these things are worth too!

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I think it's really pleasing... colors, composition, frame, too.
I wonder if there's any sense to unframing it, smoothing the fabric and replacing in frame?
Or would that be like polishing an ancient coin?????

Hi, just tried to post this reply but don't think it went through properly. I'll say it again incase it hasn't. Sorry for bringing this up again but do you know what the Chinese letters stands for and what possible value would an item like this have do you think?
    Sorry again

Our Chinese and Japanese translators haven't turned up yet, so still no translation.
The value depends on the area you are in, or where you want to sell it. Lovely though it is, it was made as a souvenir. This is not a collector's item, or something the Chinese are buying back, so there is no set value.
