This appears to be the right hand end of a larger panel, although there are no fixing marks. It depicts an Assyrian or Mesopotamian Man, holding an impala in his left arm and what appears to be a wilted flower. There is a stone with writing that is certainly not cuneiform, and is probably just a visual aid.

I have had it for exactly 57 years, so it is vintage. I bought it in Spain, and I can't remember if it was a souvenir shop or a junk shop, probably the former as I was then 24 years of age. There are no identification marks or signature.

I still like it, my wife never has.

Made for the tourist trade in 1963, or torn from an ancient artifact? I await and look forward to the wisdom, which will undoubtedly come. Thank you all.

Two photographs. One natural light, the other flash. The latter has better definition.

Before more knowledgable people come and ask the same: can you take some pictures of the back and post them please.

As requested. The little blog at the bottom is 'bluetack. There is nothing else on the back or edges.
