    Clip earrings.

Can anyone make out the signature? Each earring is hand signed. Thanks!

    I got it! Vaubel.

(This always happens... when I post photos here, seems like I look at it differently and can suddenly can read the name. I'm sure the fact that the photos are enlarged doesn't hurt!)

Thank you for the link, Debora. There are a few from this maker on Ebay, most 2000 era pairs selling for under $50, but one pair with this signature and date (1992) sold for $250, buyer saying it was 18K plate over sterling (but had no mark for either). Will need to look into that. Certainly the current ones in the link are pricey!

Purchased at a absolutely fantastic estate sale. Former owner had wonderful taste, many signed pieces, and for whatever reason, none of my typical jewelry competitors were there. Some kind of miracle. Also prices were like the old days!

Cx, I got that flapper woman at an antique mall years ago. It's ink and watercolor I think. She works great for a display for clip earrings since they sit flat. It might have been some kind of illustration for this or that, pretty sure it has some age. The person who sold it to me didn't know the history, but said that there were 5 others of different women (apparently even better than this one) that sold instantly. Mine had a crease in the paper on her chin, maybe why they didn't get her, but I've always thought it was pretty cool, and I bring her out to display pieces now and then.
