wood chair era and help

looking for information about this chair. I have two and live in a Scandinavian town. Are these anything special? They have no label or markings. I was about to burn them and thought I should ask first. Goodwill won't take them and I'm out of room.

 

Why on earth won't Goodwill take them? They appear to be handsome, well-built chairs?

The finish is chipped off around the bottom of the feet. They are very sturdy chairs!

 

Well, always better to put something on curb with a "free" sign than destroy. Lots of people in need.

And I bought them at Goodwill for .99 each

I've already tried giving them away- no takers. Any idea about what they are? What style would you call them? The seat fabric looks like something from the 60's-70's to me.

I think they are part of a parlor set ,maybe 1890 - 1900 . I could put a rotting corpse on my curb and itd be gone before I got back to the house ! Dont burn them,someone somewhere would love to have them.

 

They have a very nice sculptural quality. And upholstery appears to be in very good condition.
