hello everyone, I created this account because I found a bottle of USSR-era Nastoyka yesterday cleaning my basement. The bottle is very old and unopened, although the cap leaks a bit. Everything on the bottle and the label is in Russian except “Nastoyka” on the top and on the bottom it says “liquor bottle made in USSR”. So this bottle is almost 100 years old. I would like to know the value of this bottle, hopefully someone knows their Nastoyka history. Thanks in advance to anybody who may have some useful information about this!
Hello there & welcome. The USSR was dissolved in 1991, & Nastoyka seems to be still in business, so not sure how you worked out the age. Hope someone will come along who can tell you more.
Oh haha never mind. I googled when the USSR became Russia last night and it said 1922. I may be mistaken

Hello Nastoyka96, The state of USSR was founded in 1922 and existed until 1991. In 1991 after the collaps of the USSR part of it became Russia. They started producing this bitters "Strizhament" by name in 1976.
Or if you want to respond to just a part of a message, highlight that bit & hit 'reply' when it pops up. Hitting 'quote' saves it so you can respond to multiple bits when you reply.
Guess you better put your slippers on & take it back down to the basement. Eventually the bottle will be a Soviet antique.
Yes, "Strizhament" is the title of this bitters. But actually Strizhament is the name of the mountain in the Caucasus area.

I sincerely doubt this is 100 years old. The screw lid with a perforated seal is not from that era. My opinion. I think maybe 1960s or 70s.
