    im sorry guys. My phone turns things when it feels like it. I thought I had it fixed the other day but it still does it

    Anyhoot, I thought these were cool and even cooler when I was picturing them and see that they look like owls no matter how you turn them. Am I the only one that sees it?

    are theses just someone’s whittling project? I would like any help you can give me as to maker, origin, age, etc.

    They are solid but of medium weight. Not as heavy as I would have expected but certainly not hollow or very light. Approx 8” tall

    please help!! TYIA

    If they were found here, they would be described as Amsterdam School, ca 1915-1925. The Amsterdam School sculptors loved their owls, and they prefered the artisan look.
    You never know, maybe they are AS, and traveled to the US with Dutch migrants.
