Help identifying. Nippon?

    Need help identifying this jar. Unmarked, Nippon looking. Have owned it for 20 years, just need help identifying it. Thanks.

    Hello Mickeylee33 and welcome! Lovely jar. I believe you are correct in your attribution that it is unmarked Nippon. Date is probably early 1900's. I'm afraid any attempt to identify a specific manufacturer or specific dates of production will be fruitless. The records simply don't exist.

    Look at sold listings on ebay for Nippon porcelain biscuit jar.

    As Janet mentioned, the most reliable indicator is eBay's sold listings. You should search under "Nippon Biscuit Jar" or "Nippon Cracker Jar" and/or "Nippon Covered Jar." Look for jars with roughly the same size and decoration. If there are no sold listing you could try active auctions to see what others are asking.
