    Thanks for sharing these. As a sculptor I have had bronzes cast at a foundry and I've cast my own resin bronzes too. I suspect the new patination applied on the first sculpture was liver of sulphur, we put it on resins too, it gives a dark brown finish when warmed up and yes it stinks of sulphur.
    I remember reading about some new bright as new penny bronzes, just out of the plaster investments were left on the roof of a large city building, when someone went to find them a few weeks later they saw that they were streaked with different colours, reds, blue, purples etc, apparently residue from all the metals from car exhausts.
