What do you think is up with this doll?

    I think he's missing something. What is it made of? Any markings? Where did you get it? And what were you told about it?

    Looks like a sea captain or arctic explorer. Why there would be a "doll" of such eludes me.

    More of a figurine rather than a play doll.

    Should the left hand (facing us) be holding something also?

    More than likely sold at touristy ocean towns. I see or did see many being offered at gift shops on the water.
