Picked up a boat load of pictures and negatives. Don't have pictures for all the negatives, but found some baseball players. Who are these guys?

These are late 1970 photos. #1 & 2 is Sparky Lyle, #3 is either George Brett or more like Whitey Herzog, the Royals manager at the time. #4 is Reggie Jackson arguing with an umpire and #5 is Billy Martin, the Yankee Manager at the time.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I do think that #3 is more likely to be Whitey Herzog, possibly sitting next to one of the coaches for the Royals at the time. George Brett was born in 1953, so even in 1979 would not, I think, have had so many folds of sagging wrinkly skin under his chin. Although he did have some wrinkles, as noted on the baseball card that King posted. I haven't found a period photo of Herzog taken from that exact angle but looks like it could be him in the photo. I also note that George Brett's hair, in photos when it was the length shown in the photo, had a curliness to it that I don't see in the picture in the original post.

This article has a picture of Herzog as Royals manager sitting next to somebody who could be the same guy as in the original post above.
