I won this at a auction for a antique store that went out of business. I believe it's for a Heckman furniture store?
    It's made of wood & measures 5ft L x 9.5"H
It has 2 small screw holes on the back - one on each end - otherwise it's in incredible condition.
Any idea of it's age? When were wood signs popular? I am thinking 1950's? Earlier/later?
As always I appreciate any help

Doesn't look like it was ever outside, although I do see a few small chips to the gold paint. Have you searched for the Hekman name re store location?

Looks olde tyme rather than old time. I'd think 1960s/1970s likely.

That’s really nice! Not gold leaf but the paint may have gold in it. Could be why it’s not seen weather.
This may be their original logo but painted later as stated.
I’d research them and that font style for more clues.

I found their furniture still for sale but no stores today - they were taken over by another company a while back.
When I googled Hekman furniture store sign all I got was pics of their furniture - did they have a store/stores?

Sounds like they were manufacturers. Perhaps this sign was for a collection of their pieces in a furniture store somewhere. That would explain being an interior sign.

The only logo that has that swoopy K leg is the one from 1981.
