Hi guys! First time posting. I'm sorry I don't have much to go on for this piece but here it is. My wife got it from her aunt about 10 years ago. We no longer have contact with her or else we'd ask her. The mirrors can come off from the back by unscrewing the arms. From what I can tell though it's all hand painted. Is this junk or something worth keeping? Thanks guys!

I also forgot to mention I looked all around for any kind of labeling of any kind and found nothing.

I was to our taste and still is but my wife and I are buying a new house and it just doesn't go anywhere so we're thinking of selling it but we have no idea what these go for or if this one is special in any way.

Welcome, Trevor! The painting style of the flowers reminds me of "tole painting." I have a wooden tray that a sister gave me a while back with roses I would call at least similar. Been around for ages, going in and out of style periodically, so the style itself doesn't equate to a specific time period.

IMHO, the 3 mirrors per panel are a bit much, but it's a matter of personal taste.

The back is so flawless, I do have to wonder how old this actually is. Perhaps a closeup of some of the hardware will help?

Im getting a newer vibe, possibly 1980s,possibly made in China. That being said, its quite pretty. These arent as popular as they once were, but here in N. Fl you might get $100-200 range.

Interesting little crescent pieces for holding the mirrors. Don't think I've seen those before.

Does that hinge in the next to last image, look (in person) like it's not properly fitted to the space in which it goes? Slightly smaller than a previous one, perhaps? Is it different from the others or the same?

I think it might help to get @verybrad to take a look.

Philips heads mean post-WWII, as far as I know, and those crescent shapes showed up in the 1980s. It's not an old piece, but it's attractive if you like flowers and mirrors. The flowers are...not accurate for either roses or peonies; the leaves are wrong. No clue what they're supposed to be. It wouldn't be to my taste, but others might love it.

Agree that this is a relatively modern import. China is a likely source. Sort of a 20th century romantic style, not necessarily based on any historical precedence. You sometimes hear the term old Paris apartment bandied about. This could fit.
