Great little boat, but a bit puzzled by something else (of course), how do you pronounce Skaneateles. Please don't let this keep me awake.

A housemate in University , his family had an old one....a big one....2 decker...that we took out to Lake St Louis one time....found a secluded bay...dropped anchor ... and spent a glorious summer afternoon.....doing all manner teenage stuff......all 12 of us !

 

I think it's nearish to Coraopolis...pronounced Coryopolis.

The only thing we changed in Northern NJ was we pronounced the first part "Skinny"..... (or at least my family did.....)

 

East coast Native names twist everyone's tongues, even those of us who grew up here.

 

Pictures are fantastic. I bet not a "deal" to be had in that place.

 

You never know, but I wouldn't bet on it. I managed to see the price on one of their walking sticks; it's only about $300 more than I'd pay for it.... On the other paw, I've gotten steals from dealers who should have known better.

WOW is RIGHT !!! Gorgeous stuff !! Right off the bat I want that green bench, the basketwork trunk with the handle on top, the doll laying in the pram, many of those jewellery items, and that lovely drop-leaf table. ALL of it !! .. Joy.
