Maybe Fred Thompson, he did interiors much like Nuttings.
I’m sure there’s others but I can’t think of their names at the moment.
Sometimes they are embossed with the photographers name and can be hard to spot without a loupe.

 

OK, call me "nuts", but I do see text in what I lightened......I just can't make out WHAT that text IS........

No, there does seem to be something, but it is just texture in the paper - not letters.

I have looked at hundreds of tinted photos and can not find this one. LOL
It looks like either Fred Thompson or David Davidson but if so no one has a copy of it. LOLOL

 

I like the Boston banjo clock on the mantel.

I took a couple more photos showing the borders of the image under the matt frame. (Still can't find a sig.)

 

I like it better than most handed colored interiors I’ve seen. The coloring is excellent and the photo is crisp.

And you'd have to believe that the majority.....are legit !!!!
