Replogle Globe with stand...

    image.jpg Man did I jump on this rather quickly. I love globes and I've always wanted one with a stand. I didn't realize that I was getting one of this magnitude. It stands 30 inches tall, 20 inches wide.

    Wish it was lluminated. It's stereo relief. The globe it self is 12 inches wide. Got it for $20.

    I think I've narrowed the date for this globe around 1949.

    I had one almost like yours in my library back in the day, I sold mine for a couple hundred bucks. I still have one like yours only table size that illuminates. One of my dogs knocked it over years ago and cracked it. :arghh:

    Ya, have you seen prices for the ones that illuminate?? Talking about some serious dough. Sorry about that. I'm keeping this one for a long time.
