3 Pieces Of Pottery

1 Cow figurine, my first though was french or Italian but not positive. Measures 8 1/2" long, 6 5/8" tall and 3 1/2" wide. marked on the base.

2. Springer Spaniel figurine, measures 4 1/2" tall. Has mark on the bottom that looks like it reads Butters. I have not found any info about the mark.

3. Pitcher with raised flower design. Measures 5 7/8" tall and is 4 1/8" wide.

 

Have you tried searching H T or K T Butters?

That last little jug is sweet!

 

The cow is utterly lovely.....

 

The cow looks Dutch to me, but I don't know the marks, so I could be way off.

There are Delft cows of many colors.




This one is c.1720-1730 and is in Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam:

Here's a cow with the same mark that sold for 90 euros in 2014.

 

The paper label on that listing is for Gilman Collamore's Union Square, NY store which would date circa1870-until they moved to 5th Ave. in 1890.

 

Close, the cow is Belgian. It's a Boch Freres mark.

Last one strikes me as perhaps made in Japan.

 

The pitcher is Majolica, a very similar one is shown in the Collectors Encyclopedia of Majolica but without attribution.
