    The one with the mouse in the web? Very strange for a Valentine card. I notice they attributed to the Huntington Library and I found it listed in a recent press release along with other cards, and a little more information. It came from a collection: Nancy and Henry Rosin Collection of Valentine, Friendship, and Devotional Ephemera. The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.

    The first one has a child(?) in the web. Maybe it symbolized protection or attachment rather than entrapment?

    @cxgirl, Can ANYONE read what it says on the front and INSIDE of the flowers card with the little girl in the "trap" card???????
