Brand new here, but trying to identify the maker of this piece! Any help would be awesome. We have an arts and crafts home in Chicago and wanted a piece to fit the decor.

    Thanks!

So beautiful. Have you looked in all the drawers? On the back? under the drawers?

How did you arrive at 1902, specifically? As Komo said, it's probably close and may even be spot-on.

Nice quarter-sawn oak buffet, appears to have been refinished. Impossible to know who made it; there were many hundreds of furniture makers in cities across America at the turn of the 20th Century, so you'd need some kind of label.

The oak and somewhat simplified late Victorian Neo-Renaissance lines of this piece would make a nice fit in a Craftsman house; however, the piece isn't Craftsman.

This was on the backside! I was off, 1903. But, I believe this is the age of the mirror.

Same here. It is a fantastic piece with some really nice carved elements. I am jealous.

We love it. The inside is a little rough. Something you would expect from a piece this old though.

Here is something about Chicago Furniture makers in the mid 19th century. Looks like you have quite a task.

Thats fascinating, in 1903, looks like things were popping.

Will probably not be able to attribute this to a maker. There were thousands making similar products. While contemporary to your home, this does not necessarily fit in with arts and crafts decor. Too fussy.

Here is a typical American arts and crafts style (mission) oak buffet.

Thanks for this example. You can clearly see the difference when you put them together.
