Hope all my friends are good! <3 <3 <3 xxXXxx

Got a few eBay goodies...(as per, not much cash was swapped for the shinies as I am still mega tight) ( the locket was described as a brass pendant but I thought I could see a hinge so risked a few pounds, love lockets...oh except the pendant thing, got that from booty years ago )xx

Could anyone perhaps give me some terms to look for the stones on the locket and the pendant, perhaps, please? xx
(As ever I am totally clueless so anything about them would be good, thank you xx)

No markings at all, it's an indentation of some kind on the back, it's about 2 inches long (5 cms) and and inch and a half across( 4 cms) ( is there another measurement I have forgotten?
Can never remember if there are three or two xx
(I don't think it's rust at the top back, look like solder of some kind)
SO MANY brown stones and none look like this to ME...but...
    It's sort of brown...and...brown.
So brown with darker brown bits.
    Feels cold like a stone

Got these in a lot, could they be trade beads, friends?
    White inner bit.
On ropey stuff but has a clasp which feels like gold to me but again, tis me...it's approx 16 inches long.
Feels like glass and they are, to me,delightful.
    Remind me of pomegranate seeds.
Not that I am THAT fond of pom seeds, these are much nicer to me

This I love (I put the stuff at the top,the chain and other locket) )
It's approx an inch and a bit across (3 cms) & about the same down.
(The stone has sticky stuff at the back of it )
Wondered if it could be an agate of some type? It has a nasty crack all the way through it )
It's sort of red with darker speckles.
Could it be early 19th? xxx
    No markings

The bracelet is a bear paw pattern. Could be NA, but it's at least South Western. That's a mourning locket, mid to late 19th,probably gold. Bloodstone I think. Beads are dyed somethings, older, might be pre WW2. Pendant may be low grade silver, forgotten what that stone is.

Thank you my lovely Mrs. B xxx

The pendant is gold in colour, doesn't smell brassy ... thought possibly bloodstone but doesn't that have green? Or is that just sometimes?) xx

(The beads I think are glass? They have a white centre and a red layer, thought they looked a bit like these on etsy. )

I've seen bloodstone like that, but let's see what others think. I do think gold. That blue watered moire fabric is typical of Victorian brooches too.

Missed the SY. If it's Navajo, it will be Yazzie as a family name. Sally or Sampson Yazzie. Very nice find.

I see what you mean about the beads on Etsy! It's an old clasp.

The mark on the bear paw 'shadowbox' bracelet looks like the Sally Yazzie mark, only the letters are thinner. The bracelet is also more delicate and 'mainstream' than her usual work, so I'm not so sure.
Could be by a Yazzie, there are many of them.;)

Yes, they are glass, lovely faux coral beads, and I think you are right, possible a gold clasp. Not trade beads, but faux coral of the type that was popular during the early 20th century.
They are not white heart beads though, with white heart beads the white centre also shows as a white ring around the beadhole.

Thank you, friends!! Great info as always xx

The beads do have a white ring 'round the beadholes, they are like the ones above...they are teeny and hard to take a pic of. Going to go n try xx

So with the white centre now visible, do you think these are trade beads, friends?

I would call both mottled stones jasper & leave it at that. Bloodstone is a particular type of jasper.
