I was very upset yesterday, to cheer me up my hub took me to a table sale at a church and well I just went a bit MAD.

I had £6 when I went in,and three bags of kerap and no monies when I came out but I felt better
I spent £3 on these, just liked them and as I say,I was a Bit Mad. Just curious about them, don't think they are anything special but I always need vases. (Because others get broken not because I get a huge amount of flowers).

I never pay £3 for anything  as I am mega tight but I just cannot explain it :O I was in that table sale like a rat up a drainpipe.
Anyway here they are. We are covered in that white stuff outside so really am sorry for the pics.

This one is approx 11 inches

Has something odd happening in the rim..looks as if someone's painted a felt pen on it a bit

First one is modern Chinese decorators piece, but would have cost a fair bit more than 3 quid new. Second is older, maybe 1930s. I suspect the felt ink is covering a ding.

(The blue felty pen stuff is all over the place, don't think it's covering a ding though could be covering paint loss?) x x

They're both very pretty. I think you did very well. I love church sales. They start up again in my area in May and run through October. I try to arrive 30 minutes early and usually stand in line with lots of other shoppers. Then, the race is on to find the true bargains.
