It is signed Bodson. Not much info out there that I can see. There is a G Bodson and an A Bodson.....What have I got? Please and Thank you

Looks quite similar to A. Bodson.
The ad states listed artist. You can check on Askart.com.

Yes the ad states that but the seller has no info to back it up

 

I reckon A Bodson and your artist are the same person.

I am unable to read all the handwritten notations but it's my opinion that yours is a vintage decorative painting. The kind of thing that was sold in a furniture store. European canal scenes were a popular subject.
