Featured Identity? of Distinctive Art Deco Casserole Dish

You would think that a serving dish as distinctive as this with a signature and clear chop mark would be easy to identify. But I've had this for several years and still have no leads as to who, where or when it was made. Hopefully some of the experts here will be able to help. It is about 5" high to the top of the finial and 7.5" across at its widest.

I think way later. I'd agree on early 90s or late 80s. Looks very like some of the Armani (no, not the famous bloke) Italian stuff.

 

I googled Armani in various searches and didn't find anything which remotely resembled this dish. Can you provide some links? Are there others in this forum who might be able to identify the signature or the "AE" logo?

as this is a site devoted to antiques........it may take a while to source out a dish that is rather new...........

 

You might try running it past replacements.com. I think this piece is newer than art deco and replacements seems to have a pretty good handle on some of these newer pieces.

Just to confuse matters...
I found this noted as the mark of a contemporary British potter named Andrew Eddleston but his work looks nothing like your piece.
