Green Butterfly POttery Ashtray - Hull?

    One more request for the day... the lettering on the back of this makes me think Hull but can anyone confirm/deny this? It measures 10 1/2 inches across. I've seen a couple pieces out there similar to it but they did not identify the manufacturer. One piece that was numbered A-64 was billed as being made in 1964. Thoughts?     Lehner's shows lots of Hull marks and labels, but none that look even remotely like yours.

    Thanks for checking. You reminded me I have a Kovel's book of marks but checking Hall and Hull (the two most common USA companies I could think of) didn't come up with anything.


    Thanks, that was the one I was referring to above. Definitely the same manufacturer... whoever it may be ;)

    I'm chasing the Haeger goose at the moment. According to this link they were one of the American potteries to use stilts for glazing and it seems like they use the copyright symbol on most of their markings.
