Any one know anything about this pIs e

    This is made by A.Carrier Alexander Backer it's 28inches tall with no cracks. I see some work Backer did but does anyone know anything? I'm new here so if I'm doing this wrong please let me know.

    Plaster,circa 50s-60s. Every one of my Cuban relatives had these.

    Phones, gotta love em except when you hate em:). I did find this auction which gives some information on the artist Albert Carrier who it would seem made the original statue. I think Backer made copies of famous pieces for resale (I think).
