Art Pottery Bowl

    Any thoughts on this bowl?

    it’s well potted and impressed very faintly. It looks a bit like David Lloyd’s mark but it’s not identical.

    I can see what you mean but I am pretty sure it's not. Those LLs don't figure in the Greek Alphabet (even if turned the other way up).

    No that’s the one I looked at. I agree although the style of mark and stoneware is similar

    Try the Facebook British Studio Pottery page, they're red hot on odd and unreadable marks.

    You were right. Got it right away

    Looks like it's stamped Lloyd Lamps, which was a pottery in wales http://lloydceramics.com/history/

    There's people on there who've seen so many marks that they literally know them almost instantly. Very useful.
