Two piece of what I think are Scandinavian needlework. They have some staining and frankly I just don't want to mess with them. One is 9x10 and the other is 7x9 inches, give or take. I've found Swedish stuff at this location before; I'm guessing they've been around for a while. They were a rummage sale mistake of mine from this weekend; now they can be your mistake. If I get more than one taker I'll draw names on Wednesday.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I love old embroidery pieces but don't collect them (yet). So I'm not in for this one but am interested to know that people do collect, and even specialize!

We're up to three. People do collect embroidery still, but they're fewer and further between than they used to be.

    Hi,
Toss my name into the bunch. I have several bible markers that have almost the same pattern. The markers I have are Danish from the 1920s.

That makes four! I don't think these are from the 20s, but I've been fooled before.
