Featured Globe ideal file

Hello, I have recently purchased these drawers and I am struggling to find any information or a set like them anywhere. Any information would be much appreciated. I found some stamps in the drawers that say “globe ideal file” then the next words are tricky to see but what I can make out is “pat may 83”

 

I think you are going to need to separate the pictures in order for them to post in the correct orientation.

 

I am not sure why it is rotating the photos

Globe Wernicke did cabinets as well as bookcases, so you could try looking there.

I have looked there and I can not find anything. I think it was made before globe wernicke came together.

Think INH has found the most similar.

 

The one I have has a lock on the side. It’s pretty much the same apart from the lock and this one looks a lot darker. Do you think this one has been re varnished?

 

It is very similar it’s just the lock on the one I have that I have not found one with. Does any one know what these may sell for?
