I bought a bunch of junk as usual but in this estate the guy had a bunch of guns an gun parts the family kept the real guns but I got a bunch of the parts an I haven't been able to figure out this barrel. Any ideas all I can say is it looks like it is a huge caliber

Sub machine gun parts kit, nothing illegal in what’s shown. Importers buy truckloads of full-auto guns overseas then destroy the part they can’t import, the receiver, and import the rest for sale to collectors who then build or buy a non-working receiver to have a “dummy gun.” Just look for submachine gun pictures to determine the species. Someone might pay a couple hundred or more for the set.

Thank you so much, there was also a couple of ak with the lower 80 torched but with all the other parts. Not sure what his plans were but he passed away about 4 years ago so can't ask him

Although I suspect he was going to make dummy guns out of them because he also collected those I got them all over my living room
