    I think its a Chinese bat ? Maybe nephrite? Looks unfinished.

    It's finished,just hard to see the vertical lines across the chest and other lines on the wings and top portion.

    A Chinese butterfly, possibly bat, although they generally have a much bigger wingspan, and no scalloped edge on top of the wings.
    No great artistry, but it has charm, and it looks like it could have some age. Looks like it might be jade, but it could also be serpentine.
    How big is it?
    We need better pictures with more definition, and could we see a closeup of the stone please?

    Looks to be 3 x larger than a GB Penny, so would estimate a tad larger than a Half Dollar.
