I bought a lot of EAPG and need help with identification. Does anyone know this pattern? This piece looks early to me because the rim is wavy and looks hand finished. I also think it was made in two pieces that were joined. Just a guess from looking at the pontil. It's definitely not a repair. What do you think?

looks like one of the 'Early Moon & Star'/'Old Moon & Star'/'Star & Thumbprint'/'Star & Punty' patterns by several companies including Boston Sandwich, New England Glass, Cape Cod Glass c1850s-70s

That's so helpful, thank you!! Here's another pattern I can't find anywhere. It has a slight lavender hue.

Serendipity, you may need to start a new thread on that 2nd one. (Which is perfectly fine!) Once people have responded to a thread, they sometimes don't check back.

Also, be sure to click on "FULL IMAGE" as you are loading your photos. Then they will appear large in the text and it is easier for the folks here to view.

you're 2nd piece is called 'Herringbone' with unknown maker for now. the color is called 'sun purpled' and considered damage; the glass was left in the sun for a long time, which caused the manganese in the glass to react and being to 'purple'.

Thank you TallCakes! And thanks for the link to your website. I have a few more pieces that I need id for. I just ordered a couple of EAPG guidebooks, but they won't arrive for a few days. I have been coming across quite a bit of this glass up here in Maine. It seems to be quite affordable and a good resale item - if one can identify it.
