Looks like a gravy boat without a handle, however it has two pouring lips and the base is not separate, all one piece of pottery.
    Any ideas ?

I noticed a small chip one one lip.

Yes. One lip for pouring and the other lip for holding a ladle.

KSW that pattern looks so familiar. My grandmother had 4 sets of dishes, I wonder if she had that pattern.

    Thanks for asking.
I've been really busy, just completed 3 clearances this week.
I did 2 last week and two big ones in the last month.
Time for rest now, only one clearance on the horizon and that can't be done until after lock down.

It had a matching creamware ladle. These were also for sauces.

In our house the gravy would be all over the table!. Handles were designed for a good reason ;)

Every year at the holidays my mother would put out that cranberry stuff from the can and no one but she would eat some of it and there was a guarantee that the tablecloth would be stained red when it dripped from the plate.

I could never develop a taste for that stuff. I would order hot open turkey sandwiches at diners and there was always that little paper cup of cranberry stuff as part of the platter and I handed it off to my mom or anyone at the table who would eat it. I did like the sound that the cranberry sauce made when it came out of the can.:p

    Hi,
Thanks to mu MIL we always had five different cranberry sauces. One was the normal canned stuff but then she got creative. She cooked raw berrys and mixed it with chopped walnuts. Other nuts gave different dishes. My favorite was cranberries with cashews with mint.
