Help with Foundry Mark - Stylized Bronze Dachshund

I hope someone will recognize this foundry mark from the underside of this heavy (1 lb, 6 oz) bronze (?) nouveau or deco style dog. He's about six inches long from snout to tail. The mark looks like JA to me. I'm not really that familiar with cast metal, and any resources that one might point me to would be appreciated.

It's sold out at Saks; it doesn't seem to be that old. He's done the dog in several mediums and even made him into a Menorah!

I meant by my comment that I was wrong in assuming it had age! It's still available new on his website, and I believe I have some years on the man himself!
