French Guinea Fowl

  1. IMG_20210221_171126_compress63.jpg Hello. Trying to figure out the maker of this french piece. I have seen 2 similar ones online, but both were tureens. This one seems to be a solid piece. Thanks.

    It's one of those beehive marks.

    Gorgeous! I will trade you two new "pet" chickens that detest us and haven't laid an egg in months for that guinea fowl :) It does look as if it might be a two-part bird?? Can't help but will watch with interest.

    Could it just be stuck with some blu tac or something, it does look like it’s constructed in two pieces?

    Hi,
    I had several Guinea fowls when i was a kid. They were wonderful "watch dogs". If anyone came to visit, they would fly into a tree and make all kinds of screeches. I must admit they made wonderful tasty dinners.
