French Guinea Fowl

Hello. Trying to figure out the maker of this french piece. I have seen 2 similar ones online, but both were tureens. This one seems to be a solid piece. Thanks.

 

It's one of those beehive marks.

 

Gorgeous! I will trade you two new "pet" chickens that detest us and haven't laid an egg in months for that guinea fowl It does look as if it might be a two-part bird?? Can't help but will watch with interest.

The problem is so many did that beehive thing.

 

The base looks similar on this example but no makers marks like yours just impressed numbers.

Could it just be stuck with some blu tac or something, it does look like it’s constructed in two pieces?

Hi,
I had several Guinea fowls when i was a kid. They were wonderful "watch dogs". If anyone came to visit, they would fly into a tree and make all kinds of screeches. I must admit they made wonderful tasty dinners.

I looked and can't see where it would, it's just one piece.
