Antique Bowl

I cant upload to the thread but a bowl album under my account. I found this old bowl in our shop and we have another one just like it at home i cant find anything similar to it online just would like more more info like

Welcome, Greg! Your pretty bowl's design was registered in 1893, based on range of numbers used that year. Of course, the bowl itself may have been made later, but probably not hugely later.

 

Looks like the registration mark is from 1893, so from then or a bit later.

Furnivals is the name of the company, and the mark was in use from 1890 to 1910 (according to Godden).

Very pretty. Maybe a berry bowl?

There's a strong Aesthetic influence to the pattern, but the use of "C" scrolls makes it more just late Victorian.

 

Going through some financial troubles lately is there anyway to put a ballpark price on this bowl?

Those 2 examples are punch bowls and very large: the first 19" across, the second 16 1/2".

 

Why don't you share the dimensions of your bowl with us?

13” across and 7” height

 

Bigger than I was imagining. Maybe a master berry bowl. Roughly half the size of the punch bowl, so maybe give it a shot at half the price (pure guess). It is an attractive pattern.
