Some sellers, being stuck with these huge pieces of furniture, take apart doors, columns, front piece, patinate them in chalk paint and voilà some shabby chic decor

 

Have put me down for Geordie and French.

 

The same in Australia, and isn't it a global tragedy that beautiful furniture like these pieces are ignored for the fast-furniture, take-away culture.
