I am in need of three E26 pull chain candle base ceramic sockets for a client.
My main parts source here in Tennessee has been Antique Lamp Supply. They have indicated that the item has been discontinued.
I'm hoping that I might obtain a lead on someone that might have some of these for sale as nothing else really fits the needs of the lamp.
I have attached a photo of the lamp and the socket.
    Thank you in advance.
    John

Thank you. I'm REALLY new here. I couldn't figure out where to post it.
I need parts. This is a BIG client, very well known in town, and I'm relatively new here. If I pull this one off, I'll probably have to build a shop out back.
There are HUNDREDS of Southern Belles in the area from age 60 to 90 with lamps that I think Edison may have wired himself.

Hi John. I'll check my stockpile in the AM on Thursday and see if I have one. If I do, you're welcome to it and I will ship to you. No promises, though.

I actually have a candelabra from a floor lamp that is very similar but does not have the porcelain bulb holder or pull chains.

Try grandbrass.com. I have ordered stuff from them before. Not saying they will have what you need, but worth a quick look.

The two channels for mounting on the support bracket may be a deal breaker.

Thank you. I spotted that one. The problem is that you can't slide the paper candle tube down over it. I may have to convince the client to accept keyless bases and an inline rotary switch. I'd fasten the pull chains as mere decorations to maintain a visual effect.
You KNOW that's there someone out there somewhere that's 90 years old and has a barn full of stuff like this, lol.

The sockets are fine structurally. It's the switch mechanism that wasn't rotating properly. I've managed to repair two. The hot side contact on the third one has broken off. It functions as a contact AND a stop for the "clutch" side of the switch.
I'm considering cannibalizing an old junk parts socket for a strip of copper plated steel, fabricating a part and silver soldering it to the contact.
It's a lot of work, but I'm belligerent, lol.

Vertical switch rotation is also killing me.

I thought about that the other day. You could get a nice vintage inline rocker switch that looks great and would be more functional. Realizing that there may be times when the owner would not want all three on at the same time...

    Hello all,
First, allow me to express my gratitude to everyone that responded.
    Here was my final solution.
I took 3 twist knob 4" candle sockets (the keyless socked hickey was too narrow) and set them to "on" and filed off the stems. I located 3 on/off pull chain switches
that would fit inside the hickeys and the offset would line up with the chain holes in the candle bases on the lamp. After some filing to improve adhesion, glued them to one side of the hickey with JB Weld, and the threaded mount on the switch rests neatly against the base over the hole.. The pull chains line up EXACTLY and the lamp will function like the day it was made. All modifications are hidden by the candle covers when assembled. WHEW! I can't make a photo small enough to show.

Thank you all again for the photos and suggestions that inspired this idea.

    Regards,
    John Quinn
